If last Saturday was any indication, I’m getting ready for an abundance of election-related questions from both long-term residents and newcomers to our township.

As a local resident for over 37 years, the local Council representative for 24 years and running the ‘Desk’ for 10 years, it never ceases to amaze me how wide and varied community concerns and/or feedback can be. A few months ago, I was witnessing some documents for a couple when they asked me if I thought that the husband’s vasectomy could be reversed. Not my area of expertise I’m afraid!

Seriously though, it’s amazing how relatively small issues mean so much to individuals and all of them deserve equal attention.
